This is spot on. I feel the widely popular Barbie movie is an example of the current "girlboss" and abounded in and overlooked its use of the aesthetic-woman stereotype, similar to Rosie the Riveter. It had its moments, but portraying men as ignorant dolts hardly accomplishes salient success for women.
